Meg Frodel
Ap, LAc

Acupuncturist

Meg came to Chinese medicine after a serious neurological illness in her teens. Finding her way back led her into integrative care: craniosacral work, bodywork, medical qigong, yoga, meditation, and food therapy. She later spent years with a Native American women’s council in the Pacific Northwest, work that shaped how she thinks about guiding people back to their own capacity to heal. She moved to New York and became wellness director at a global consulting firm, where she ran a corporate wellness program for 10 years. Classes covered nutrition, sleep, bodywork, qigong, meditation, and ergonomics. Even with those resources, she saw that many people needed a closer diagnosis and a different kind of care for years of stress, pain, and poor sleep. She trained in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at ACTCM, then worked in a busy clinic alongside an experienced pulse diagnostician and herbalist. The work centered on custom formulas and acupuncture matched to the person, not to a single Western label. She is a Florida-licensed acupuncture physician and sees patients with Eduardo at Soul Acupuncture in Fort Lauderdale.A visit starts with a consult and pulse reading, then a plan for what that person needs now. Two people with the same complaint may need different herbs and treatment.
